Back to School and Back to Work

Wow! It’s been a minute since I last wrote a blog post. A lot has happened these last few months. From FINALLY getting vaccinated, to sending my kid back to overnight camp, to weekends back at the beach, and today, the first day of school, it really feels kinda normal again.

Let me first start with what’s happening today. My daughter, my only child, is starting high school today. 9th grade. Not sure how this happened. I mean I just dropped her off for her first day of preschool like a second ago, right? She’s so grown up, so mature, so smart and I could not be more proud of her and all that she has accomplished so far. She was nervous this morning, totally normal, but super excited. With her mask in hand, school bag packed, and yes, a love note from me written on her lunch napkin, I sent her on her way to pave herself a new road in high school. Wishing all the kids a wonderful and HEALTHY year ahead. You are all going to do AMAZING things.

(Ok, wipe tears from face). Next… what’s happening with Comeback? Well, we celebrated our first anniversary a few weeks ago. If you haven’t been to the Comeback website, NOW IS THE TIME! There is so much inventory. Great sports jerseys, just in time for football season to start. Amazing collegiate swag from a bunch of different colleges and universities, and it’s never too early to start shopping for camp swag for next summer. There are so many day camps and overnight camps represented. Just recently, Comeback added the category of school uniforms/swag to the lineup. There are a few items listed, but if you have school gear, please consider listing to sell that stuff — perfect time to do that with the new school year just getting started.

Behind the Comeback scenes, we are plugging away. Lots of social media posts on Instagram and we recently started a Comebackgear VIP’s Facebook Group, which I invite you all to join. I’ve also been invited to join a few Instagram Lives to share what Comeback is all about.

In addition, during the summer months, I offered my summer camp packing and storing services, which helped many first time camper families pack their kids to go to camp and learn how to store their camp gear in an organized fashion for the winter. No question that when they are ready to start packing for camp this spring, they will have no trouble finding what they need.
